ACache Corp. (ACC) was founded in the spring of 2004 by Jay Apedaile to provide soil samples by using drilling techniques for engineers in the northern Utah, southeastern Idaho, and western Wyoming areas. When it was founded, Jay was in charge of the Geotechnical Engineering Division for an engineering firm in northern Utah. While Jay was working for this company, ACC did soil sampling for them and other engineering firms.  In the summer of 2005, Jay decided to devote his full attention to ACC.

In the 20 plus years ACC has trained some of the best geotechnical drillers in the inter-mountan west.
