Equipment

ACache Corp. (ACC) currently has three Drill-rigs, a 2006 Simco 2800 HT/HS mounted on a 2006 Ford F550 4X4 pickup truck, a 2004 Simco 2800 HT/HS mounted on a double axial trailer and a 1989 Simco 2800 HT/HS mounted on a 1988 Ford F450 2X4 pickup truck.

ACC also has a self anchoring Cone Penetrometer Test (CPT)  platform that we currently have mounted on a skid steer with rubber tracks.

The 2006 and 2004 Simco 2800 have a CME auto hammer and is marketed at being able to do 100’+ deep holes with hollow stem auger, depending on the soil type.  It has up to 7000 ft.lbs. of toque.

The1989 Simco is equipped with a 140# safety hammer and a cathead.

Our CPT platform is capable of pushing up to 20 tones of down force provided that the surface conditions are favorable for the anchoring system.  We have the capability of going 120 feet in depth and are able to do seismic cone readings as well as pore pressure readings and dissipation readings.

We have the following capabilities:

• 40’ of 4 ¼“ solid flight auger
• 100’plus of 3 ¼“ ID Hollow stem auger
• 100’plus of 4 ¼“ ID Hollow stem auger
• 60’ of 6 ¼“ ID Hollow stem auger
• 60’ of 8 ¼“ ID Hollow stem auger
• Rock Coring (NQ2 100+feet)
• Mud Rotary (150+feet) (we have a casing advance system for soft soil  4″ ID)
• Air Rotary

We are typically tooled up for using the 3 ¼” hollow stem auger.  Other tooling is available upon request. Please let use know what samples you will be looking at getting.

Samplers

A Cache Corp. provides samplers at a rate of $15.00 per day per sampler type. Both rigs are equipped with standard 1.5” Split Spoon Samplers for the standard SPT test.  We also have the following equipment that may be used for sampling:

• 1.5” Split Spoon Sampler
• 2.0” Split Spoon Sampler (mod. Cal.)
• 2.5” Split Spoon Sampler (California.)
• 3.0” Shelby Tube Sampler
• Piston Sampler for 3.0” Shelby Tube (we need to be informed well in advance)
• 5’ long by NQ2”~2” Core-barrels (wire line)
